1. Entry fee and platform fee
Each monthly pool has a one-time entry fee, shown on the auction page before you pay. Paying it issues your bidder token for every vehicle in that pool.
The entry fee is non-refundable and is not adjusted against the vehicle price, whether or not you win. It covers that pool only; a new pool needs a new entry.
Property and gold sales have a one-time platform fee, shown before you register. It is non-refundable in the same way, and separate from the EMD you pay on each lot.
If a pool is cancelled before bidding opens, the entry fee or platform fee paid for it is returned.
2. Earnest money deposit (EMD)
Vehicle, property and gold auctions ask for an EMD on each lot before you bid. It is held safely through the payment gateway until the lot is decided.
If you do not win, your EMD is refunded in full once bidding on the lot closes.
The second-highest bidder's EMD is held a little longer as a backup, until the winner pays or the lot is passed on — it is then refunded in full.
If you win, your EMD counts toward the price you pay.
3. When EMD is forfeited
If a winner does not pay the balance within the payment window shown on the winner screen, the winning bid is cancelled and the winner's EMD is forfeited to the seller, as the sale terms require.
The lot may then be offered to the next bidder or put up for auction again.
4. Cancelled or withdrawn auctions
The seller may pause, reschedule or cancel an auction for administrative or legal reasons.
If a lot is withdrawn or a pool is cancelled, every EMD held on it is refunded in full.
5. How and when refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the same account, card or UPI ID you paid from, through the payment gateway. Once a refund is started, banks usually credit it within 5–7 working days.
You can follow every deposit and refund in the app under Profile → EMD Deposits & Refunds.
6. Failed or duplicate payments
If a payment fails, no amount is deducted for that attempt. Check Profile → Payments for your real payment history; only entries marked Paid were successful.
If money left your account but the payment shows as failed, your bank usually reverses it within 5–7 working days. If it does not, contact us with the payment reference.
7. Payments for the lot itself
The balance for a vehicle, property or gold you win is paid to the seller as its sale terms say. Refunds of those payments follow the seller's sale terms.
